An exclusive model of 100 cm of DS «Stavangerfjord», which was the Norwegian American Line's third ship. The ship was launched on 21 May 1917 and put into service in April 1918. The ship sailed to New York and due to the First World War it did not arrive in Bergen until 21 September 1918.
DS "Stavangerfjord" was seized by the Germans in Oslo in 1940 and was used as a depot ship throughout the Second World War. After the war, the company put the ship back into transatlantic scheduled traffic. The old lady faithfully crossed the Atlantic until 1963 and left Oslo for the last time on December 27, 1963 on her way to Hong Kong for chopping.
